Mr. Cerda has over a decade of legal experience—in large law firms, in corporate legal and Human Resources departments, and in establishing his own law firm. These different experiences have allowed Mr. Cerda to learn legal strategies and first-hand knowledge of how plaintiffs and defendant attorneys view different aspects of legal claims. Additionally, Mr. Cerda clerked and was employed at several of the nation’s most prestigious AMLaw 100 law firms in California and Washington. In those positions, Mr. Cerda represented several international clients in multi-billion-dollar merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Cerda gained invaluable negotiation and tactical skills that are necessary to defend his clients’ legal rights.
Mr. Cerda has lived and served the citizens of North California and the Bay Area for most of his life. Mr. Cerda joined the Marine Corps after high school and successfully completed a four-year enlistment in an infantry platoon and was awarded an Honorable Discharge.
Mr. Cerda graduated with a Degree in Economics from U.C. Berkeley. Mr. Cerda went on to earn his law degree from U.C. Berkeley’s School of Law (Boalt Hall), which is consistently ranked as one of the Top 10 law schools in the United States.
